I was born, and live, in Valencia, Venezuela. I'm the fifth of six children my parents had. My father was German and my mother "porteña", that is from Puerto Cabello (Venezuela).
I'm married to Pedro Urriola; we had 2 girls and 2 boys. All of them are married, and on the girls side, we have three grandchildren.
I teach English at the University of Carabobo, School of Education. Currently, I'm doing my PhD at the University of Sevilla. The dissertation will be an online English course for in service language teachers to fulfill one of the UNESCO guidelines: permanent education.
